Addons You Can't Live Without

Alright, I hadn't seen any posts on the forums about this and I felt that there were some really good addons out there that weren't being told to some of our member so here goes...

1) First and foremost. Loot Filter.... End of story. This mod will Automatically delete junk items as you pick them up. You can also specify if you don't want to pick up food or drink (rogues this is nice to not have to worry about drinks.... ugh)

It says that it hasn't been updated but I am able to get it to work with 3.3 so... meh. (Make sure when launching the game that you check to load older versions of mods). Once in game type /lootfilter in the chat. It will bring up the menu, and you can set it up how you want. I just tell it to delete greys but you can give it specific names of items that you want it to delete ETC. Always be leery and very caution of any loot filter. I have it to only delete grey items because I figure I can delete the other items if need be.

2) Most of you know of this one... but if you don't then that's fine too. Quest Helper is a huge addon for WoW. You ever wonder how everyone knows where to go on quests.... well they don't... Not really. Some might have played it enough in the past that they know (*raises hand....*) but mostly they use things like quest helper. Quest Helper allows you to simply follow a green arrow for knowing where to go on a quest. Or if you want you can pull up your map and it shows you where the items you need are at. If you want more help with this let me know or any of the guildies. They will help you out.

3) MobMap.... Hands down just an amazing addon. What does it do? Taxes... Picks the kids up from school... ok seriously. What it does is it shows you exactly where every mob is at in the game. It creates a bit of stuff on the quest log where you can click an M next to the quest object, and it will put these nice white squares on your map where the mob that either has the item is... or the mob itself that you need to kill is. It also does other nice things. Say you're wanting to mine (it also includes those annoying fish or herbs you're wanting...) ... It will show you where every node ever farmed on this game is at. (Not sure if it's true for wow legacy but it's worked great for me thus far.)

4) Auctioneer. Ever get tired of the repeated "Click" "Drag"... rinse repeat... so on so forth of adding items to the auction house. Auctioneer makes life easier. It allows you to go item by item through your inventory (check out the appraiser once you open the AH) while being able to look at the auctions currently on the market for that item IN THE SAME WINDOW.... Now that's nice. It is also a tool for scanning the Auction House and then while you're away from it, the auction house can tell you how much something is worth. It also comes equipped with a tool called enchantrix and a few other things that basically allows you to know what items disenchant into. This tool is much more powerful than this... but this is all I'm going to talk about it here.

5) Last but definately not least. I refuse to play if I don't have this mod. I can handle some of the others.... it's called Dominos. If you used to play a long time ago it was Called bongos. Basically this mod gets rid of all the stupid extra Blizzard UI crap. It allows you to place spells and other things anywhere you want. All you have to do is click the mithril bar'ish looking thing around the minimap. It's really a domino... but it's hard to tell. You can then scale them (I have all mine 75%) as well as do other things. Another thing is that it allows for easy key bindings. All you do is shift click the icon around the mini map and then hove over the item that you want to bind. Once you've done that you can push the key you want to bind to. You can also use modifiers keys... so you can set an ability to Shift + button 4... etc. I do all the time.

hmmm.... i use a lot x-pearl , healbot , killmore , Carbonite , ItemID , DHUD , GearScore , QuickRepair... and a lot of more addons i think this will help someone to find some addon that he dont have... have fun

I use some program for addons database and it's call WoWMatrix it nice program u can look for addons it have description too... and if someone know some good addon post it

Carbonite(mainly quest helper, but I like what it does to the map and it lets me see guildmates and friends regardledss of whether im in a group with them)
Lightheaded(Carbonite 'mod'. Links to wowhead or thottbot and lets you see the comments for quests. i.e.~ quest is being a bitch and in the comments you see you needed to grab this piece that the quest wasnt too clear about, all the while staying completely in game)
IceHUD(I LOVE that I can see my hp/ma and my targets hp/ma without looking away from the middle of the screen)
GearScore(b/c I want to see whos uberest around me )
Xperl + Bartender(I could live without thses, but they are nice once you get them setup)
Cooldowns(BIG flashing numbers on your buttons = win vs all)
Titan panel(first addon Ive ever had and i consider it a part of the wow ui, lol)
Auctioneer(duh)
DeadlyBossMods(waaaaaaaaaay helpful for new places or tired raids)
Omen3(everyone needs this... period. Tanks need to know if the have enough agro, EVERYONE ELSE needs to know if they have too much. Dont be the annoying agro grabber, get this mod)
Recount(how much face am I melting?)
YourMama(who's yer daddy?)
YourFace(Ooooo, I said it... what?)
